In the 2024 UN-Habitat Lao PDR Country Annual Report, the interventions in a continuum of settlements from cities to remote rural areas through combat challenges such as urbanization and climate change is highlighted. Aligned with the Lao PDR Country Programme 2022-2026 and Lao PDR-United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (UNSDCF) 2022-2026, UN-Habitat Laos has successfully implemented projects and interventions to enhance the resilience of urban systems and communities. Future efforts will focus on facilitating climate change adaptation planning and strengthening community resilience at national and sub-national levels.
