This report is part of the "Building Resilience of Urban Populations with Ecosystem-Based Solutions in Lao PDR" project.

The Completion Report highlights the transformative project across four flood-prone cities—Vientiane, Paksan, Savannakhet, and Pakse. Between 2022 and 2024, the initiative shifted from traditional infrastructure to nature-based solutions, empowering over 74,600 people through hands-on training, field visits, and knowledge exchanges. By restoring 1,500 hectares of wetlands, the project not only enhanced flood resilience but also sparked a new approach to sustainable urban living.
